Hi Friends, I’m Lakeya!

For a long time, life didn’t look anything like I expected.
I’ve had seasons where I was just trying to make it through—healing, growing, and learning how to trust God in ways I never had before. Not perfectly, just faithfully.
This space didn’t come from having it all together. It came from walking through real life with God and realizing that even in the hardest moments, He never left me.

My Story

I didn’t always have a deep relationship with God. I knew of Him, but I didn’t truly know Him. Life has a way of bringing you to places where surface-level faith just isn’t enough. That’s exactly where I found myself.

I’ve struggled with alcoholism, depression, and self-hate. I experienced moments that stretched me, humbled me, and changed me. What once felt confusing and overwhelming became the very place where my faith grew deeper and more personal.

God didn’t meet me when everything was perfect—He met me right in the middle of it.

Why I created Lakeya Faith

Lakeya Faith was created to share what God has taught me along the way. Not from a place of having all the answers, but from walking through real life and learning to trust Him in it.

I know what it’s like to be rejected, feel unloved, and forgotten. Because of my pain, God has healed me and called me to draw the broken-hearted to His loving arms.

If you’re in a season where you feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or just trying to hold on to your faith, I want you to know you’re not alone.

This space is here to encourage you, remind you of God’s truth, and help you keep going—one step at a time.

No matter where you are in your journey, God will meet you there.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to grow in your faith. You just have to be willing to keep going, trust God, and have faith that He will do more than you can ask, think, or imagine.
